Our Foundation believes the foundation of a just society lies the vision that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, and a peaceful future is grounded in deep cross-cultural understanding. To that end, we awards grants to organizations and individuals to support opportunities for the disadvantaged, and to organizations dedicated to further cross-cultural understanding.

Our Foundation believes our treatment of animals is an extension to our humanity. As such, we would like to do more to improve the protection of animal welfare in the Bay Area Community and in certain Asian countries where the need is great. We direct and invest in programs to better the lives of companion and wild life.

Our Foundation believes in a rich and diverse natural environment. As such, we support a wide range of projects related to building a culture of sustainable environment, including funding projects to reduce global warming and climate change, advancing renewable technologies research, and educating for sustainable living.

Our Foundation believes fairness for all people, and society is benefited from unleashing the creative energy for l least among us. As such, we support efforts that address the root causes of inequity. Our funding focuses on increasing the engagement of community members affected by economic and racial inequity.
